Verse1
Why is there discrimination in the world today?
Racism and biasedness is eminent to date.
People insulting each other's skin tones,
Even the classes they go to have become a joke.
Placing each other in little boxes,
Labelling them with what's not the focus.
We've become manufactorers in a factory,
Giving 'same' people the same story.
Can't we ever respect that each of us
Is different in our own way, differences very vast.
Can't we ever learn to accept the truth;
We have differenct laughs, different spoofs.
Though we may have accepted it in our lives,
We take the differences and make them to a laugh.
Not respecting one another's thoughts and feelings,
Turning our cheek cos its self-entertaining.
Chorus
People out there please learn to understand;
We are same yet different, together we must stand.
There's a war going on-we still have to fight
We gotta stick together to make it to the light.
Verse2
Can't we try just to make friends?
With people not the same-the ones of other races.
Discrimination-its gonna be bad
If we don't wake up, and take it in our hands.
"God", we can pray for a helping hand.
"God", but its still you, still your stand.
We are all humans-we breathe in oxygen.
We share the same earth, its global warming situations.
Come on guys, we can still make a change.
Be proud of all the different people.
Together, we'll make biasedness history,
If we are together, we don't have to worry.
We are the same, we're all humans.
With different races, and different talents.
No one can be blamed for what they've gained.
Be proud that we're different yet still the same.
Bridge
Wake up, face the irony
Wake up, face the irony
We can do this together
Cos we're different yet very same
